End of my shift on Wednesday

A lot of people told me I looked good at the end of my shift since most of them started like an hour before my shift was up and they were on the other side of the store. So they didn't get to see me until I went to the bathroom after clocking out.

So, before I got myself winterized, I took a pic. Two really.

The sweater I got like two weeks ago. I hadn't been on the floor that week, so when I was getting something for a friend I saw this in clearance and got it. It wasn't on clearance but I got it anyway. I was talked into it since I didn't drop it like a hot potato when I realized that it wasn't clearance.

It seems that we were all right. One girl said I looked really good in it and might get one for herself.

If that isn't a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is. The pink skirt I think I sent you a pic of like a month ago, at least. And yes, my wing is back. It's a great hat for this insane weather, but I got a little too hot when I'm working in it.

I have thought of just wearing the wig to work and taking it off, but I think an actual hat would raise less eyebrows. 🤔 I just have to buy one. And I haven't owned one since I was 17.

I also took a head shot since I hadn't taken one in a while. I did not do the glowly thing. That happened on its own.

So worth it...

But I inhale it like air and right now my mouth hurts from my dental visit that I don't want to think of biting any of it.☹️

Almost A New Bedroom.

So, yesterday my sister and I went to IKEA and got a lot of stuff.

I got a whole new bed and bed frame with slats. New sheets and comforter set along with different seasonal inserts. So I put the thicker one in since it is winter time.

Those sets each had two pillow cases but I only had two pillows, so my sister gave me her two since she just refuses to use them. Go figure. 🤷‍♂️

I also got a new wardrobe. With a mirror door. I now have a mirror. I've never really had a full length mirror before. I've wanted one for a few years now, but my sister was creeped out by them.

I have one shelf in there with a basket for my socks. 😆 my only silly perk.

There are suppose to be two draws under my bed, to hold my sheets, but my landlord said that we were making too much noise when were halfway through with the wardrobe. So they will have to be done another day.

So here are the pics. My sister did most of the building but I helped when she wanted and with half of the wardrobe. Also, my bed got upgraded from a twin to a full.

My sister wouldn't let me get a twin. She insisted that no adult should be sleeping on a twin sized bed.

As I was rushing to catch my bus, I saw a squirrel dash across my path. When it stopped it had a small mushroom in its mouth and started to eat it.

I don't consider it unreasonable, but it was very unexpected. You don't hear anyone saying how squirrels eat anything but nuts.

Granted, I never stopped to read up on squirrels, so it could be easily found out if I decided to look. ☺️

So, on day 4 of my 6 day work week. I almost cried when I thought I had to be there for 10:30 this morning. That when I woke up, I double checked to make sure and saw 11:30 instead.

I was so temped to go back to sleep, but I got up and prepped my oats instead and did some stuff until it was time to get ready.

Now, when I say prep my oats, I mix dry oats, some sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, dried cranberries and walnuts in a bowl and plugged in my water heater/kettle and just before I went in the shower I put the hot water in the bowl, mix everything up and covered it with something.

Sunday I was on register but the rest of the days I've been running back and forth in the fitting room. Outside of all the shirts they wanted hung for clearance it wasn't that bad. Lucky us, more people bought stuff for other people than themselves so we weren't that swamped in the fitting room.

I could be sent there again today, but I feel like I will be sent to the register today. Just because of the time I'm going in for today. But that is no guarantee.
