I'm Not Even Going To Pretend.

My memory is what is has been for the last 10 years or so of my life. Fragmented.

I'm not even going to pretend that I remember what happened for most of Friday. Oh.. wait... I'm getting an image.

...I got to work about 15 past 11. E didn't work. I guess she was out sick. The day before I cleaned out all the spy and adware she had one here. Thursday I also got the VNC thing to work on XP. I had to open a port. Ok...Friday, or Thursday I installed MS' AntiSpyware software. I'm impressed. It's a lot better than I thought it would be. Oh...Thursday I did a digitizing of something for a teacher from his camera, in the end it was like I gave a small class on how to use MS Movie Maker. I also got to eat fies for that day. Now back to Friday. Another teacher showed up. She wanted help with something. Ron had sent and e-mail to me about it yesterday, but she showed up the next day... I'm sure. Anyway, when she showed up I think I was the only one there, or I thought that I was only one there.... I think you that one. I wrote about in the last blog. .... Well to add to that, today I got and e-mail from my boss saying not to worry about it. First he starts to crush me, then he pats me on my back and tells me not to be sad about it. Odd. Very odd.

Well on Saturday I took Nika for a late walk into town. I think I talked about that too, but I don't think that I said anything about looking for a new wig in town. *hanging my head* This country has no capital. The kinda cheep stuff you don't think twice about in NY and most of the U.S. can't be afforded here. Anyway, I went to three places that had wigs. That last place I shouldn't have gone. It was so sad and disappointing. But I was hopping to find something good in an unexpected place. Anyway, I didn't see the one or the kind I was looking for. But I did kinda take a shine to a short one. And I mean short. It's a flip higher than Tapal's from Enterprise.(I'm sure I spelled her name wrong.)

Well we got back in good time, we got a drink, and I even had time to give her a bath before my sister came back from where ever she was. She left that morning to go to the last ( should be the last ) 7th semester sale. As far as I was concerned she should have been back by the time we left. She had no really money this time around. Well I got a call from her at 4pm tell me that she crawled out of the pool and in no time at all it was 4. I think I did talk about that one .... so you know about taking Nika to B's and such. ...

Ok.. let's continue with today.

I need sleep. Didn't fall asleep until after 3 I think. I think Nika walked over into my room around 2am and Jhodie came and got her... I think. Anyway, Ohh... I did forget something....

Back track to last night...

I said something about projects. Well I got the one done, and I got far with the other one. I'm just having some issues with Excel. After so many letters it won't let you see the rest of the text that is the cell. Then there is the extra space that it places at the end of text in some cells. Then there was the hiccup where parts of some information wasn't exported over the excel sheet, for which I had to go back and run access to copy over that column of information a cell at a time. I'm just happy that there wasn't text for each of the 310 cells.

I just tackled the part where it wasn't wrapping the text after a certain point. It turns out that there is a limit that excel will show in cell. So I had to break up the text by head and spread it across rows.

Ok.... back to this morning. Well it's Sunday, so Jhodie told me when she was leaving for work, and I tired to talk Nika into letting me sleep a bit longer. I got 30 or so mins out of her. Then she wanted to play Frisbee.

Yesterday when her godmother and Jhodie picked her up, they went to IGA, and she got to pick out a Frisbee, and she wanted me to play with her. I didn't want to get out of bed to use the bathroom. So from 10am until 1 or so we played in my room, and I got up to get us a snack. Then I just fell asleep. Tomorrow or Tuesday I'll take her out on the pasture and play real Frisbee with her. Anyway, I got up a little after Jhodie called to ask if I feed her yet. I told her that she didn't ask for anything. I got up, Nika work up at the same time, turned back on the tv and I was the bathroom when Jhodie came home. I got a sandwich and got ready for work. I need to wash my clothes. With that said. I was just about ready to leave when my sister called me to the living room. And there she was holding the arm of the kids that comes by begging for food, every day, and a number of times a day. She found him in the back yard doing something. She just told me to watch him while she got dressed to take him to his house and talk to someone about him. I waited as long as I could before leaving Nika in the house alone. He only lived a street over, so she wasn't going to be gone long and Nika won't do anything.

Well as I got to the top of my street, someone beeped me. It's the teacher that I gave the Movie maker lesion too as I was digitizing this tape. He gave me a ride to school, since he was on his way into school to get his camera that was on my desk.

Wait, I missed one important thing. The sick lady that Jhodie was helping to take care of is in the hospital. She (Jhodie) called the hospital herself on Wednesday when she went in to work. ... I'll tell you more about that when I get back. That is of course more to this story.

Hello Larry..

*hug*.... I thought my day was going ok until I got an e-mail from my boss.

Yesterday a teacher came by with some work, and I told her that we couldn't get it done
by the time that was mensioned in the e-mail. I waited for her to think, then ask me how
much could be done by then, but she just turned off. I didn't expect her to leave.

Later my boss called me after getting a voice mail from the teacher, and I reminded him
that with one person working per shift over the weekend, we couldn't doing it for her. He
agreed wth me, then said that he was willing to come in and cover the desk so M could go
and do it on her shift. And that he had left a voice mail or e-mail for the teacher
saying so, and to drop the work off at the desk.

Today, I get and e-mail from him saying that I shoudln't have told a customer no, and
that I should have found another way to help her. And that it wasn't my place to tell her
no. I'm also suppose to call her up and say I'm sorry. The only thing that I'm sorry
about is that I didn't try harder to stop her before she left to tell her that we could
get about 10 or so pages done for her over the weekend. But at the time I didn't think
that was something she wanted to hear but I didn't get even get a chance to say it.

I couldn't have asked Ron (boss) anything since he left at 2. I think the only one that
stayed around any length of time was Collin. But right now I can't remember when he left.
People were leaving between 1 and 4 that afternoon. By the time the techer came I'm sure
I was the only one left. That won't help me now. It's not major, and I'm sure that he
would have liked it to have turned out differntly, me too, but for all I know She stayed
for over 4 hour yesterday upstairs and did them herself. At least four hours.

I haven't used that software all semester, so I'm a little fussy on how long it would
really take to scan 30 pages (single sided) But I know it would have taken longer then
the 2 hours I could given to the project.

Well I can't let myself feel too bad about it. I have another project to get done, and
that has brought up it's own problems that I have to work out, or she will miss her dead
line also.

Like I said my day seemed fine. Stayed in bed a bit, hung out with Nika until we went for
a walk into town. Came home had a drink, gave her a bath and got ready for work. My
sister called at 3:59 which is where part of the day started to go wrong. She was suppose
to be walking in the door so I could leave. She wasn't walking in the door. Time flew for
her, so I had to take Nika over to friends house two "blocks" away, and got her something
to eat. I called work to let the other girl know, since she had called earlyer to let me
know that she would be leaving at 4 today. Lucky me I got a bus quickly, and I walked on
to campus when she was walking out. But I had to go help a teacher right away since he
came looking for my help. I left his office after 4:30, so I was going to spend the money
on a juice since I was tired and hot and I thought I deserved it. He ended up buying me
lunch/dinner. Great. I got down here. No problems, I was even able to burn a cd for a
student in the burner that didn't on a cd yesterday. I was good. Ate lunch. Spilled a
little on shirt. Curry. Then I read the e-mail. I didn't feel as bad as I feel now when I
first read it.

Right now, I just want to write my e-mail to you, see if I understand what is going on
with the VNC and this computer, and do two projects. Finishing one and getting very far
in the other one.

Other than that, I've neglected to write my blog for over a week. Ya. This may be the
longest I've going without blogging. At one point I was busy, at another tired and didn't
want to. At another point my sister was using the computer. Another time I didn't want to
again even thought I knew I should.

Mostly I've just been looking forward to going on vactaion. I don't know if I've ever
looked forward to a vaction before. And it not like I'm currenly being run ragged either.
I might be even thinking of changing jobs if I could.

I thought that you might be getting tried of tell me what hurt that week. I thought that
was why you didn't write me so much.

Thursday felt odd for me. It felt like it was saturday. I showed up and everyone was
gone. Rick called 30 mins or so after I got there to see that I was there, since they all
left. I had fun, as much fun as I could, did some work, and got the project that I'm
going to have to leave you for soon.

I don't get space tv here, so I don't see all that you do. I haven't seen Capt. Janeway
for years now. I did catch an ep of Enterprise a few weeks ago by accdent on CityTv. As
for Next Gen and DS9 I see them every day on SpikeTv. Well, every week day. Two eps of
DS9 followed by 3 eps of Next Gen.

Have you see FireFly yet? I think only SciFi Channel has that one. I don't know what is
comeing on this fall. I haven't seen or heard of the line up. I've been watching
StarGate, SG Atlantis, Battlestar and watching anime on the computer. :)

Let me know how the doc thing goes. Oh, can you send me your address again. I just want
to make sure I have it.

I think I missed like Two days... right??

her own bed unlike the night before when she was in my bed and I woke up every 3 hours or something like that. I had to move her back unto her side of the bed, to cover her up with a blanket and to use the bathroom.

Anyway, I wasn't planning on staying up late tonight. I had my early shift today. I passed up watching the re-runs from Saturday that I missed of my anime line up on Adult Swim. I was only going to watch two eps of "You're Under Arrest" instead and go to sleep, and be at work on time to start the form things.

I woke up today (Friday) feeling drugged, but I got out of bed, got breakfast, and took a quick shower, but I lost some time somewhere and left about 17 past. At the top of the hour Jhodie called Ron and told him that I was running late with out me asking her. That was nice. Unforeseen, but nice.

I'm going to have to finish this later. It's 5 till 7. Closing time. I want to walk out of here on time, which is like 5 past. Oh... It will be after SG1 and Atlantis and BattleStar. :)

Back... a little late I know.

Time... 11:09pm Saturday night.

Now it's more like 31 past. .. but I can't stay. I'm tried. Maybe tomorrow. I don't have to be at work until 4pm. I'll try and get some more written up then.

April 27, 2005 - Well it looks that is when it was really published.

I'm ok today. I have to go to the store on my way home to get eggs. The egg guy didn't come in today.

I wore my wing again today. Half of them (students) think that it's my own hair. That whole thing about our hair getting long once you perm it is alive and well. I had to tell Freckles that my hair isn't this long. I was hoping to ware it for the last three weeks of semester. I’ll see.

Di is loving my hair today. I think it’s the streaks of red that has her going. You couldn't see it the pics, but I have red in there.

Anyway, the link below is something that I heard on the news a few days ago if not last night.

The 100 Sexiest Hotels List, and St.Kitts and Nevis made it on the list. Their check list didn't include reputation it seems.

You can read about it here, then they have a link to the site that shows you the winners and links out their website. I was happy and expected to see that hotel that I told you about not that long ago on the list. They don't have a working link for them for some reason.

I'm down to 50 mins until I get to go home.

I walked in to my boss’ office because he called for me when I was out of the office thinking that he might have work for me, or most likely had a question that was up my alley. Neither. He forgot that M was coming in today to cover the library desk. I hate doing it, so I was glad I got out of it.

Every time either department has a staff meeting someone from the other side cover's the front desk for them. I'm kinda sure that covering for us is a bit harder, but they just changed there system, and I don't want to mess anything up, and since M covers most of the time, she knows how to do stuff over there better than me.

Anyway, I think that I may have to get a wig sooner than later. This one had too many loose hairs falling out. Also, I may be buying a cheep router from a student that only does wired because the wireless part broke.

Rick thought that the one I brought in for him to fix was one that I going to use, so he didn't order the other one that I told him about. After I told him no today, he told me that there is a girl with a cheep router who’s wireless part doesn't work, hence the cheep price. I told him to get me her name. But I think that she may already have sold it by now. It's like 2 and half weeks before she leaves the island. I hope she still has it. I really tired of having to turn the modem off and on again and disconnecting one computer so the other computer can connect to the net, then plugging it back into the switch so I can still get to the desktop to watch the anime I have there.

Then there is still the issue of paying my uncle back for breaking his router. *ouch*

Ok... going. It's 30 till now. Going to spell check, play a few levels of something then pack up and go buy some eggs. :)

Oh, I got around to posting the wallpaper for my club today. :) I wasn't feeling well at all yesterday or I would have done them then. I was in bed, in pain, and asleep for most of the day. "modern medicine" stinks. Not as bad as old world medicine, but it looks I might be given morphine for headaches and body aches if this keeps up.

Ok... Now I'm leaving.

Monday the 1st, August 2004

My sister made me make oatmeal for breakfast.

I wanted for once to sleep late, but it wasn't going to happen. It's 12:23am (tuesday morning) and I'm still awake. I have yet to sneak a nap. I've been out twice with Nika. Once to play football with her, and next to go to the store on a holiday after my sister got back from work.

She had to do extra because it was a holiday and the other people were off. They didn't go by on the weekend, because it was the weekend and then they still don't show up today because it's a holiday, and tomorrow is a holiday also, so don't expect to see them there tomorrow either. For Crying Out Loud! What kind of care is that?!?! My sister couldn't touch anyone when she got home. She called me with the cell phone the lady gave her last week to tell me to clear the washing machine so when she got home her stuff could go right in. And they did, and she went right into the shower.

In the mean time before she come home I was left to entertain Nika. For the most part, she laid on the bed next to me and kicked my shoulder. It wasn't so bad. We danced to a few songs, we got dressed, she took a shower, (she can do that, now that we have a hose attachement with the water heater.) then we went to the pasture to play foot ball. Normaly I say no, but I wouldn't gain anything by staying home and it wouldn't be fair to Nika, and no was out there to see me make a fool of myself so I said we would go, and we did. Nika stopped far sooner than I thought she would. She fell, and when she felt better she wanted to go home. I didn't ask her if she wanted to. I asked her if she wanted to play some more incase you think I'm letting her wimp-out.

She wanted to go home by herself while I stayed here and played. I told her no way, and twice she came up with something in her head to get around it, then she said that she needed me to open the gate. So I got to walk behind her. Since she wanted to walk home alone, I gave he keys and I was like 40 or so paces behind her. As she got to the road I told her to check both ways. She stood by the cross walk, looked both ways, and stayed there since cars were coming. The cars stopped and she walked her self across. They must have thought something until they saw me standing on the other side watching her. One guy smiled at me. I walked along my side of the street until she turned down our street and waited outside the gate for me. I walked down and opened it up for, and she found the key for the door all by herself, and opened the door. I didn't show her. She said that Jhodie did. Good for her.

We thought that one of her new teeth were coming up even thought it was replacing the only one that has come out so far. So we danice to the chipmunks "All I want for christmas" song. Then she remembered the Shrek christmas song, so we played that afterwards. Then I thought that she was going to go down for a nap when I play the first ep of "Honey and Clover". I haven't been able to get any others yet, but I like it. Nika likes the start of the first one. They have dancing and moving food at the start.

My sister said that I could have have the wig since I have more of a reasion. An office job. :) So I won't shock this guy that looked at me every time I walked by last night. If I didn't know better, he "phyically" likes me more now. That would be slightly sad, it's nothing that I don't already know. I almost flerted last night I would have tired more if I was stuck helping the girl. Mostly we both decieded what to use, and I made it. In the end we did about 15 or so, and two got damaged when they were being saved. I think I just too much open. The computer isn't that new.

What was I saying??.. Well my sister came back, had her shower, put her cloths to wash, and Nika and I watched a few eps from "You're Under Arrest". My sister was there for one of them, then they told me to go take a shower. I did, and washed my hair. Maybe my sister will get around to gressing it for me this time.

Then in another attempt to tire out Nika, we were sent a few blocks to get some stuff, and a corn curls for Nika. My sister was sure that the store was open even thought most of the island had shut down. Well she was wrong. The store was closed. We ended up going to a smaller store just down the street from that store. It was the store of the mother of a lady that use to be my teacher back when I went to S.D.A. School. In fact she was there. We said, hi, and I did some small talk before I asked her for the stuff I was sent to get. One of the items is in question by my sister, and another she didn't have. I got a candy bar that I didn't remember until just now when I sister found it in the bag. I don't nomrmally eat candy bars, but I felt like buying it. It's too sweet for me to eat. I had to wash my mouth out with water after two bites.

Well the desktop is up and going, but I'm going to turn on the laptop in a few mins to watch a few more eps of "You're Under Arrest" before I go to sleep. I can't really stay up late since Jhodie now knows what she is dealing with and has to go in early to work.

We didn't watch that much tv, so the night just slid by. We watch PBS for two hours, jumped around, watched the end of SG1 Re-run back when they didn't have Daniel.

Ok.. I have go now. My sister wants to use the net. Oh, for anyone from my wallpaper group. I have the set for this month, and I'll try and post them tomorrow.
